Nikki Smith serves as the Relocation Director for Joyner Fine Properties, located in Richmond, VA. She is a graduate of The University of Arizona with a B.S. in Animal Science from the Race Track Industry Program.

Nikki is an active member of both the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (WERC) and Relocation Directors Council (RDC), where she holds her CRP (Certified Relocation Professional) and her S-GMST (Senior Global Mobility Specialist, Talent) designations. Additionally, she holds the GRP (Global Relocation Professional) certification from Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. She served on the inaugural YP40 Committee as Vice Chair, sat three times on the WERC Certification Review Board for the CRP Exam and organized a panel for the WERC Spring Conference Task Force. Additionally, Nikki has authored several articles for Mobility Magazine and for her many contributions to the industry, received the WERC Meritorious Service Award in 2016

During her years as a realtor, Nikki had her first experience in the global mobility space, when she was partnered with a FedEx transferee moving from California to Memphis. The entire process was a life-changing experience and quickly became her passion. 

Nikki decided to make a career in corporate relocation and soon thereafter became part of the Primacy Relocation team. Throughout her expansive relocation career, she has worked in various capacities, including domestic and international policy development and implementation, real estate agent training and retention and corporate business  development. Most importantly, Nikki intimately understands the emotions and details that are associated with relocations, as she’s been the trailing spouse in her husband’s four corporate relocations.

When not assisting relocation clients, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She especially loves watching her daughter play basketball at Randolph-Macon College, training for marathons and getting out to the horse races at any track she is near.
