Richmond Brunch

Everyone loves brunch. It's the perfect meal for a lazy Sunday morning or a nice indulgence while you're out holiday shopping. There are plenty of great places for brunch near Richmond homes for sale. Here are a few of our favorite spots.

  • The Riviere - 506 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220
If you woke up too late for brunch, The Riviere has you covered. They serve it all day! Menu staples include traditional favorites like omelets, buttermilk pancakes, and French toast, as well as more unique fare like salmon cakes or lollipop lamb chops and waffles. Plus, try their waffle flight: an assortment of waffle flavors, including blue velvet, cookies and cream, and party waffles. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a perfect spot for brunch at any time of the day.

  • 821 Cafe - 825 W Cary St, Richmond, VA 23220
Another all-day brunch spot, 821 Cafe, has a fun, quirky vibe and a friendly staff. Try their bacon and brie omelet or French toast stuffed with lemon curd or Nutella. They also have breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and more.

  • Bar Solita - 123 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220
A Mediterranean spot, Bar Solita has brunch offerings from all over the globe. From Cajun shrimp and grits to breakfast chimichangas and empanadas to falafel burgers - plus wood-fired pizzas like pepperoni, Margherita, basil pesto, or buffalo chicken - there's something here for everyone.

  • Jefferson Hotel - 101 W Franklin St, Richmond, VA 23220
If you're looking to splurge, try Sunday Champagne Brunch at the Jefferson Hotel. It's pricey but worth every penny. The buffet-style brunch always has plenty of different dishes to offer, but the menu is different each week: crafted by the hotel's Executive Banquet Chef to include a variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients. It's a decadent and luxurious experience that's not to be missed. This isn't a spur-of-the-moment outing, though. Reservations are required, and depending on the day, they may sell out up to three months in advance.

  • 521 Biscuits & Waffles - 521 E Main St, Richmond, VA 23219
If you're gluten intolerant, 521 Biscuits & Waffles is your go-to brunch spot. Everything at this restaurant is both 100% gluten-free and 100% delicious. Their wide assortment of waffles includes lemon poppy seed, brown sugar pecan, raspberry white chocolate, and chocolate coconut. As for the biscuits, you can have them with butter and jam or as the base for an egg sandwich with your choice of cheese, bacon, sausage, avocado, and more. And if you'd rather brunch at home, they also offer contactless pickup and even catering.

  • The Daily Kitchen and Bar - 2934 W Cary St, Richmond, VA 23221
    The Daily Kitchen and Bar
has something for everyone, but they're particularly noted for their vegetarian brunch options. Served Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 3:30 pm, you can start with banana bread or avocado toast, then move on to bread pudding French toast or a wild mushroom frittata with spinach and goat cheese - plus veggie sausage or tempeh bacon. They also have plenty of offerings for meat eaters. Try their Fig & Pig pizza: pulled pork, figs, and arugula, with mozzarella, white sauce, and a balsamic reduction. They take walk-ins, but reservations are recommended if you want a seat right away.
