The locally grown fruits and vegetables sold at farmers markets provide fresh, affordable and healthy food options that cater to every household budget. Many of the growers also lead seminars or demonstrations that cover everything from health-related education to learning how to cook or prepare a delicious meal. These markets also bring the community together as they support local agriculture and the local businesses that rely on it.

   Now in its third season, the River Street Market near Petersburg homes for sale is continuing to grow! Their expanded location features new programs and events every Saturday between April and October. Fresh produce from surrounding counties sits alongside handmade jewelry, local honey, fresh meats and more. River Street Market has a new collection of arts, produce and culture each week, providing you with locally sourced goods from your neighborhood artisans and crafters.

Stroll nearly anywhere around Richmond, and you won't be able to resist snapping a photo of the diverse beauty found within our city. 1. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden – 1800 Lakeside Ave., Richmond, VA 23228
   Any green space is sure to spruce up your photo, but the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden offers perhaps one of the most diverse natural backdrops in the RVA. Over 50 acres of gardens transform into your own runway as you fill up your camera roll with gorgeous pics. There are plenty of places for you to find the perfect light, but we suggest visiting either the Central Garden or Asian Valley first. The Central Garden features a terrace with a fountain that creates nice depth while Asian Valley offers the opportunity to get a snapshot that whispers sweet serenity.

Vinyl is back and bigger than you'd ever believe! Once reduced to bargain-bin burial in thrift stores, vinyl records have been enjoying a resurgence over the last decade. Though some thought that this fad would fall flat after a brief bump, today's sales numbers don't lie — buying vinyl isn't a trend. Whether fans are scooping up printings of the newest releases from their favorite bands or thumbing through boxes of used titles at resale shops in search of songs from decades prior, the demand for vinyl continues to rise.
