The namesake charity of Regenesis Thrift Store runs programs assisting people who are low-income or homeless as well as individuals battling substance abuse or recently released from prison. Their shop accepts donations of just about any item that's in reasonably good condition, including vehicles. Free pick-up is available for larger items. Regenesis is open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. every day but Sunday, so you can drop off donations while touring Colonial Heights homes for sale.

Henricus Historical Park is celebrating Memorial Day in a very cool way on May 25th. They'll even fire muskets and cannons to salute the men and women of the armed forces that have sacrificed their lives throughout American history.
