Where to Donate Your Stuff Before Moving

In honor of National Give Something Away Day on July 15, our REALTORS® take a look at six donation centers in the Richmond area to declutter your home.

1. Regenesis Thrift Store - 24 Pickwick Ave., Colonial Heights 23835
   The namesake charity of Regenesis Thrift Store runs programs assisting people who are low-income or homeless as well as individuals battling substance abuse or recently released from prison. Their shop accepts donations of just about any item that's in reasonably good condition, including vehicles. Free pick-up is available for larger items. Regenesis is open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. every day but Sunday, so you can drop off donations while touring Colonial Heights homes for sale.

Celebrate National Anti-Boredom Month

There are plenty of places for you to find the perfect light, but we suggest visiting either the Central Garden or Asian Valley first.
