  • Outdoor Fun at Ashland Berry Farm – 12607 Old Ridge Rd., Beaverdam, VA 23015
    Start your fall family fun with a trip to Ashland Berry Farm in Beaverdam, where participating in the harvest is just the start. You can pick your pumpkins to create the perfect Halloween decorations, or take a harvest tour to see what a local working farm looks like during harvest season. Ashland Berry Farm is also home to Terror on the Farm, one of the area's most famous haunted walks. Later in the fall, you can come here to shop for Christmas trees and other decorations for your home.

    Located in the southwest suburbs of Richmond, Chesterfield is an indoor shopping mall with more than 125 stores to serve your shopping needs. The mall is home to four anchor stores including At Home, Macy's, Sears, and JCPenney's. You can visit stores like Children's Place and Justice if you're looking for things for the kids. Or TJMaxx/Homegoods if you need something for the whole family or your home. Chesterfield Center also has a food court where you can take a break from your shopping adventure.

This week in RVA there are a few special sporting events for your calendars!

The 2019 Eastern League All-Star Week is in town and has many events scheduled over the next couple of days. Check out the schedule to get involved, GO SQUIRRELS!

Second in town, we have the 2019 World Overall Flying Disc Championships! Today the disc-related events are out in West Creek but will be moving closer to town starting tomorrow.  Check out their schedule for a list of all the events!

On Saturday, July 13th at 7PM the Richmond Kickers will have a home game at the City Stadium. They will be battling North Texas SC and the game will be shown on WTVR CBS 6.3, ESPN+. Click here for

Richmond Family Fun

Celebrate National Anti-Boredom Month

Now that summer is here, are you dreading the first time you hear those inevitable words, "I'm bored?" In honor of National Anti-Boredom Month in July, our REALTORS® share this list of fun kids' activities in the Richmond area.

  1. Three Lakes Park & Nature Center - 400 Sausiluta Dr., Henrico 23227
    With a wide variety of interactive exhibits featuring air, land, and water, Three Lakes Park & Nature Center is an ideal place for outdoor summer fun near Henrico homes for sale. The impressive 6,500-square-foot Nature Center has displays of plant and animal life native to the area along with a 50,000-gallon aquarium that lets you get an up-close look at the marine world. Pack a picnic lunch and fishing poles and make a day of it. Hours through August are 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. weekdays except Monday and noon - 4:30 p.m. weekends. General admission is free for all visitors.

  1. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden – 1800 Lakeside Ave., Richmond, VA 23228
    Any green space is sure to spruce up your photo, but the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden offers perhaps one of the most diverse natural backdrops in the RVA. Over 50 acres of gardens transform into your own runway as you fill up your camera roll with gorgeous pics. There are plenty of places for you to find the perfect light, but we suggest visiting either the Central Garden or Asian Valley first. The Central Garden features a terrace with a fountain that creates nice depth while Asian Valley offers the opportunity to get a snapshot that whispers sweet serenity.
