If ANYONE needs a realtor, I HIGHLY recommend Bruce Nugent, of Joyner Fine Homes. I wish I could give him MORE than 5 stars! The market had been rough when my fiance and I were house-touring, but Bruce was extremely patient and undeterred--keeping us from being discouraged. Because of the volatile market, we spent a LOT of time with Bruce, touring around 30 homes. (I should also not that he was very flexible, working around our two, very irregular schedules.) From day one, he was very personable--Bruce basically treated us like family! He genuinely wanted to help us find the perfect home for ALL of our needs. He not only listened to us, but actually HEARD what we were looking for and completely understood us--including the dynamics of our multiple requests. He was also always very knowledgeable about all of the neighborhoods surrounding our chosen locations. A very professional realtor, Bruce found and shared many homes that fit the bill (on paper). We made offers on several homes that we toured, and when things didn't work out those first few times, he was resilient and told us that he was positive we just hadn't found the right one yet. He was always sure that we would find the perfect home for us, and he was not wrong. He DID FIND us our perfect home. He consciously avoided influencing our negotiation decisions, and was NEVER pushy or "all salesman" (like some other realtors we have known in the past.). When asked, he would share ideas that had worked for others and shared his thoughts on what strategies he thought had been effective in the current market. He even did research for us concerning utilities and services in the neighborhood where we purchased our home! We just cannot say enough about this realtor. Do NOT hesitate to give Bruce a call!

We couldn't be more satisfied with Bruce as our agent and the detailed work he has done in assisting us with buying our dream home. He made the whole process enjoyable and informative and protected our interests every step of the way. He provided all of the details about the HOA, inspections, utilities, closing process, and repairs. He guided us through every aspect of the home buying process. Bruce took the time to meet with vendors and inspectors at the home when we had to be at work. He recommended vendors, made calls to get quotes on our behalf and even scheduled the services for us. Even after we closed on the home, Bruce still took the time to help us finish off all of the items we wanted to get done in the home. We can't recommend Bruce highly enough and can assure you that you will not find a more competent, personable, or enjoyable realtor to work with in your home buying endeavor.

We've known Bruce for over 20 years: it seemed only logical that he'd be the ONLY person that came to mind when we were ready to purchase our "dream home". We called 2 days before we arrived to Richmond, Virginia and he was able to set aside the day just for us. At least that is what he said but we know better. We know how hard he works and how busy his calendar is all the time. But he willingly rearranged his hectic schedule and made it work for us. Bruce is the kind of person that always makes you feel like you're the only one that matters. That is how he's always been. He has this innate ability to make you feel like you're the only one in the room. He makes you feel special and always listens to the little details with sincere interest. He provides honest feedback because he truly cares about you, your children, your Grandchildren and your lifestyle. We described what we were looking for, our prize range and even gave him a list of must haves. He found our house that very same day! Oh, we've owned houses in the past and the purchasing process was usually grueling but with Bruce it was effortless. In April of this year, my husband and I contacted Bruce to see if he would be interested in selling a home my husband had recently inherited. Without hesitation, he said Yes! He was with us the first time we went in the home. The home was very nice on the outside, the inside was a different story. The home needed to be cleaned out and a TOTAL makeover. Bruce knew all the professional contacts to get the house remodeled. In 4 months, the home was perfect and ready to go on the market. We had 6 offers the first weekend, and a written contract the first week. Bruce is the best realtor we have worked with. He is professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile. If you are interested in selling or buying a home, he is the person to contact. He went above and beyond the definition of a real estate agent.
