Awesome Agent! We began looking for a new home in February 2021, but with the housing market not being "buyer friendly" at that time, we put our search on hold. Then in July 2023, through the Virginia Credit Union (VACU), when we began working with Drew Cheely of Joyner Fine Properties. Working with Drew has been both a joy and a pleasure. He was very passionate about being an agent, was very patient, was not pushy or constantly reaching out. Drew would send properties, based on our requirements, and allowed us to take our time to review them. What I also enjoyed was that he would wait for us to call him. Well, in December 2023, 5 months later, Drew got the call! He was out of town at the time and set up an afternoon appointment on New Year's Eve. Upon his return, we went to see the property and it was the one for us! That same evening, we submitted an offer, the sellers accepted it, and the home buying process began! During that process, Drew was extremely attentive, kept us well informed and whatever he promised to do, HE DID IT!!!! Because of Drew's attentiveness, quick turnarounds and keeping us well-informed, we were also able to close, a few days earlier, on February 2, 2024! All we can say is...Excellent work, Drew! Our experience in both selling and purchasing a home with Liz Hagen was excellent! She is a true professional and was very responsive during the process. We had been in our previous house for 36 years so we were not familiar with selling or buying a property in the current market. Liz was involved with us throughout the process of preparing our house for sale and reviewing the new one to make sure everything was accomplished. We couldn't have had a better realtor. She made suggestions on what needed to be changed and what would be okay in the current market. During the selling process, Liz kept us updated on the listing and appointments and what our expectations should be. The house sold the first weekend even though a tropical storm was coming through and the viewings were soggy. She guided us through the closing process and helped us with the new townhouse.
