We had a very challenging relocation situation from the West Coast to Richmond, to be closer to our daughter and two granddaughters. I have been in the Real Estate industry for over 20 years in the Los Angeles area, so I had an idea just how many things need to come together for a cross-country purchase and relocation to be successful. We met Christine Shepard through family and friends who had had a great experience with her in a recent relocation to Richmond. Boy, did we make the right decision in working with Christine! Beyond her professionalism, she knows the Richmond market, and all the neighborhoods extremely well. She also knows the local lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and various tradesmen needed for a successful purchase or sale. After we gave her all our various search criteria in detail, she proceeded to set up online searches for us and from there we were able to identify candidate homes that were available on the market. She went over and above in surveying and previewing every one of the potential homes for us, since it was impossible for us to travel and see each one ourselves. Once we found the "one", she negotiated hard on our behalf and in the end, we were successful in purchasing the home we loved at the price level we were comfortable with. She coordinated the closing process with the Listing agent, inspections, and all the other various details. She communicated with us every step of the way, so we were always informed throughout the closing process. We would highly recommend Christine Shepard to anyone needing to buy or sell real estate in the Richmond area, and we will definitely be working with her again moving forward.

Phon was incredible from the very start. We reached out to her in the middle of the night after stumbling on a home we really wanted to see and right away she was ready for action! Several homes later, we found the house for us and we are SO in love with it. Throughout the process Phon had all the details, made herself available, and taught us everything we needed to know about buying our first house. She never once asked us to do something we weren't comfortable with and helped keep us level headed no matter what the process threw our way. She helped us plan and navigate a difficult out of state move to Richmond. She took the time to truly understand our situation and needs, and was there at every step - helping us narrow down the best area of town to focus our search, touring homes and offering no-nonsense advice, coming up with the best way to present our offer to the seller, and even managing contractors after closing while we were 600 miles away. I don't know if we could have made this move and found such a perfect home for our family without her help. I can't recommend Elizabeth highly enough.

We first met John 27 years ago when he represented the sellers in the home we bought. He would then drop by periodically to see how our move went and if we had questions about the house or area. Through the years he stayed in contact so, when the time came to downsize, our choice of realtor was easy. And what a wise decision. John and his team are top notch in every way. He took the time to understand our hopes and, due to his extensive knowledge of this market, was quickly able to identify neighborhoods that could potentially meet our needs. As picky shoppers, his patience in finding just the right spot was much appreciated. And when the spot was chosen, his team was on top of every aspect of the purchase of the new home and the sale of the old. Each member of the team was rapidly responsive to all of our questions and concerns and kept us informed every step of the buying and selling process. John Senior was our primary realtor but occasionally, when he was not available, John Junior would step in. He showed us several listings and hosted the open house of the house we were selling. He also managed, with the team, one very significant issue that arose during that sale (a buyer's issue that could not have been foreseen) with a resolution that far exceeded our expectations. He, too, is extremely knowledgeable and client focused. We cannot more enthusiastically praise the Daylor Stiles team and provide them our wholehearted recommendation.
