He was prompt with communication and made himself super available for viewings. He explained so many things along the way, which helped demystify the process for me. When I eventually found "the one", Wes helped ensure that my offer was attractive to the seller. He was there every step of the way. Melanie was awesome from beginning to closing. She helped us sell our childhood home even though we didn't live in town. She definitely knows the market really well (house was in short pump) and how to get stuff done effectively. What we appreciated the most is how much she helped us take care of the sale and closing even though we weren't local. Wes was amazing to work with, especially for a single, first-time home buyer. He was critical to helping craft a compelling offer and securing a rapid closing. He was a consummate professional through and throughout. Wes is very down to earth and extremely personable and attentive to needs. He is a problem solver and excellent communicator and always responded promptly to my questions. Wes' extensive knowledge of the Richmond area neighborhoods was a tremendous asset, as I was only a couple years new to Virginia. When touring homes with Wes, he has an extreme attention to detail and was particularly helpful in bringing up and sharing all information, as well as rapidly fielding questions. There is not enough space for me to write how awesome Wes Fertig was in the search of our forever home. He is not only professional but he was also always available, caring, very helpful, and listened to what we wanted. This was my second time buying a house and my husband's first time buying a house. Wes was very helpful in explaining things to my husband in such a way he could understand. My first time buy a house I could tell that my realtor was all about the money. With Wes he was more concerned about what we wanted or didn't want in a home. When I asked him questions, and I asked a lot, he would answer me honestly and in a timely manner. He helped us see when he knew a home wasn't right for us. Wes was very patient and not pushy. When we found our home and we wanted to do some remodeling, he helped by giving me names, numbers, and even lined the contractors to come by on the inspection day to give me quotes of the work to be done. When I couldn't reach a contractor, Wes would call the contractor and the contractor would then return my call. All of this After the deal was done. So if you are looking for an outstanding realtor who isn't just a realtor but felt more like a friend, then definitely call Wes Fertig. He will be our forever realtor!
