Connie Byers was a godsend to us from the time I first talked to her from Moscow, Idaho about helping us find a rental house in Richmond to well after the closing on the house we purchased eight months after our arrival here. From day one she went above and beyond what we might have expected from any realtor much less one we'd never even met. Even though rentals were not what she normally focused her efforts on she worked diligently to coordinate viewings with our son and then after we finally found the right place helped us when we had a few glitches with the rental portion of her company. When it came time to look for a home to purchase she directed us to a great mortgage company graciously advised us about the pros and cons of various homes and neighborhoods and coached us on the best approach to making an offer when other offers were also in the works. Her advice to write a letter to the owner explaining why their home would wonderfully meet our needs clinched the deal for us even though other offers were higher than ours. She walked us through the maze of paperwork involved with the finalization of the sale came to the meeting with the lawyer on the day of the closing and brought us a wonderful home-cooked meal the first day we moved into our new home. After we had moved in and experienced some plumbing and HVAC issues she helped us when the home warranty company was not handling the claim appropriately. And when we told her we wanted to add a deck to our home she directed us to several contractors with fine reputations we could trust. Connie Byers is the most competent realtor we have ever dealt with and on top of that she's really nice! We are already suggesting her to friends even though we've lived in Richmond for less than a year. She's a gem and a blessing. Bill and Nancy Payne

From the beginning Connie sat down with us and gave us the lowdown of everything that was going to take place what steps needed to be taken and what each other's roles were. She even made us a book and checklists to help us along the way! Through the easy parts and the parts that seemed to take a little more doing we found ourselves more prepared and appreciated her willingness to get answers to our questions as soon as possible. We've never purchased a home before but Connie made us feel secure in the decisions we wanted to make and confident in buying a home. Purchasing a new property had its pros and cons and whenever we had an issue she stepped up and worked hard on our behalf to get things straight. Whenever we needed an update on things she got things moving along. In the end we ended up going past our closing date something we felt was difficult to process at the time. She worked even harder to make sure our side of the agreement was meant and a few days later got to closing. It would have been a lot more stressful but Connie stood by us the whole way and was always a phone call away. We're glad we went with Connie and on our next purchase it's safe to say we will use her again!

Connie is a fantastic realtor! Working with her was a wonderful experience. She helped us purchase our new home as well as sell our old one. When we were purchasing she listened carefully to what we were looking for- and even when I was willing to settle for less she pulled out her list and reminded me why I had told her those features were important to us. I felt like she was our advocate in the entire process. She always had our best interests at heart and was available whenever we reached out to her. It took us 6 months to find our new home and she never made me feel rushed or bad about all the time she spent with us. When we were selling she went through my home to help me "stage" it to appear attractive to potential buyers. She gave us excellent pricing advice and we sold it on the first day! She thoroughly understood the financial aspects of the deals and connected me with great workmen inspectors and vendors. Honestly if I didn't love my new house so much I'd do it again just to get to spend so much time with such a caring smart sincere and fun person!

We were referred to Connie Byers at Joyner Fine Properties by our realty agency in New York during our hunt for a home in the Richmond area. Connie responded immediately to our phone calls texts and emails and started an extensive search for the right property that would fit our needs. She listened to our comments about what we wanted in an area house and pricepoint and immediately communicated potential properties. The continuous online MLS listings that she sent were so helpful even before we made our way south to Virginia. Those listings clearly were selected with our parameters and guidelines in mind yet gave us further ideas that we hadn't even thought of. We always felt that Connie was extremely organized and professional in every way and when we finally met her discovered what a wonderful person she was as well! She exceeded our expectations in a realtor and made the whole process of finding and buying a new house a great experience. Connie was the consummate professional in helping us sell our home. She developed a sale plan along with comparables to help us price the home. Her communication was excellent following up with each broker who showed the home to get feedback. Our home was several hours away and Connie offered to do a lot of the leg work for us meeting contractors at the house and even offering to do some research at the county building when some legal questions had come up. She also helped arrange all the necessary inspections before closing. This was very helpful with me being so far away. Connie was very easy to work with. She will go the extra effort to help with anything she can. I highly recommend her.

Working with Connie was not only a pleasant experience; it was quite the privilege. I have never worked with a realtor that I felt cared about us in the way Connie did. For Connie this is so much more than just a job and you are so much more than just a client. That being said she truly cares about her clients and their needs. She takes time to listen and does her best to help find what you want and what you need. I have also never worked with a realtor that had the wealth of information Connie has. Honestly I'm not sure which was the bigger blessing. Connie has this amazing way of anticipating needs when it comes to selling and to buying. She knows the laws and the expectations in her field and moves with precision and speed when something needs to be done. We had quite a few things that needed to be repaired when selling our home. Connie had connections in every area that were dependable and honest. Frequently when a need arose she had reached out to her people before I even knew what kind of repair person needed to be contacted for the job! Two years prior we had attempted to sell our house. We felt as if we were fish out of water with no help or direction from our other realtor. With Connie we felt confident every step of the way. She was there she was always accessible and she gave us a plan. Even when I was overwhelmed with the amount of repair work we needed to have done I KNEW that at no point were we alone. Connie literally held our hands as we navigated each step of the way. When it was time to buy our new house Connie knew exactly what to look for. She knew to ask questions about things we had no clue to ask about. When we thanked her for being so knowledgeable her reply to us was "it's my job to know what you don't know." She once again held our hands and navigated the murky waters for us. I honestly don't know how we would have survived the stressful process of selling and buying (all while I was pregnant) without the kindness, patience, knowledge, and go-getter attitude of Connie. As if that wasn't enough to ask for she always did it with joy and a smile on her face. If we ever decide to sell our house and buy another there is no question in our minds that Connie is the lady we would use.
